About the Role
This role is pivotal as a Sales Manager based in Papua New Guinea, focusing on one of the most strategic markets essential for the company’s ongoing expansion and success.
Responsibilities
· Act as the face of the firm in Papua New Guinea, embodying and promoting its values and ethics, while establishing a strong, active presence in the market.
· Lead the sales process from strategy development to execution, managing the sales pipeline, forecasting, and targeting key wholesale sectors including Telecoms, ISPs, and Government agencies.
· Leverage existing relationships for upselling and seek out new sales opportunities by understanding customer needs and aligning them with our services.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, chambers of commerce, and industry bodies, to enhance market presence and penetration.
· Navigate complex cultural and political landscapes to optimise sales strategies and actions in the region.
About You
· Min. 3 years’ sales experience in Telco, ISP, or satellite broadband sectors
· Proven experience managing extensive sales cycles and large-scale proposals.
· Knowledge of the Satellite or Telecommunications industry highly regarded.
· Demonstrated track record of closing significant sales deals.
· Capable of extensive travel within Papua New Guinea to meet strategic goals.
· Strong communicator with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
· Ideally, you hold a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
