What you will do

As a Business Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead significant business outcomes for key customers across various industries by utilising the capability of the Salesforce / MuleSoft

platform and its ecosystem. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, your mission is to consultatively drive sales, cultivate relationships with senior stakeholders, and ensure successful business outcomes for both the company and its clients.

To be successful you will

· Develop and implement strategic approaches to identify and target potential customers.

· Generate new sales opportunities through effective networking, converting these into long-term partnerships.

· Construct and execute detailed business plans to meet or exceed goals and sales quotas.

· Handle the full sales cycle, from client acquisition to deal closure, ensuring a cohesive and efficient process.

· Establish and nurture robust, long-lasting client relationships, understanding their needs and responding to them diligently.

· Coordinate with presales teams to tailor solutions that fit client budgets and timelines, leading requirement discovery sessions as needed.

· Craft compelling value presentations and proposals, conducting negotiations to finalise contracts.

· Resolve client issues promptly, providing after-sales support to enhance customer loyalty.

· Solicit client feedback and implement measures to boost customer engagement.

· Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM system, documenting sales activities and pipeline data diligently.

Who are you

  • 7-10 years' experience in selling IT solutions to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers, with a particular focus on cloud platform implementations, and digital transformation.

  • Able to demonstrate experience and success in developing multiple strategic relationships and delivering to a sales target.

  • Able to attend networking and client events and build a personal profile in the industry.

  • A team player with the ability to bring teams together to develop sales proposals, tender responses and contracts.

  • Experience in building and sustaining beneficial senior stakeholder relationships.

  • Consultative sales approach with strong creative problem-solving skills.

  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to develop refined, competitive pitches and write comprehensive proposals.
