About the role

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be at the forefront of our client's ambitious expansion in the Pacific Islands, a pivotal region in their growth strategy. As the Vice President of Sales, Pacific, your role is fundamental in steering the company towards achieving its strategic goals. You'll be instrumental in developing and executing market-specific strategies that not only align with the organization's objectives and key results but also make a substantial impact both regionally and globally.

What will you do

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic market plans to support organizational goals, fostering growth at regional and global levels.

  • Spearhead key initiatives and projects focused on growth enablement within the region.

  • Cultivate relationships with new strategic customers, establishing robust programs and partnerships to advance financial and commercial objectives.

  • Optimise regional grants for maximum social impact, ensuring robust governance and partnerships.

  • Oversee the regional P&L, support local team recruitment, and manage teams within the company's matrix structure.

  • Secure and maintain necessary technical licenses and approvals from regulators.

  • Elevate the company's market position through thought leadership, leveraging relationships and insights.

  • Develop and operationalize strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders.

  • Represent the company as a regional spokesperson, promoting its position as a broadband leader.

  • Direct senior stakeholders in defining and implementing customer account strategies.

  • Lead the Sales & Regional teams in managing sales opportunities, achieving targets, and maintaining key customer relationships.

  • Guide and mentor Sales & Regional teams across various Pacific markets, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-level team performance

Who are you

  • Min. of 15 years’ experience in Telco sector and existing network across Telco or ISP.

  • Understanding of Fiji market, deep understanding of the nuances of regional pacific markets is highly regarded.

  • Track record of success in similar high-profile roles, demonstrating your capability to drive growth and strategic direction.

  • Demonstrated experience leading, inspiring and driving both revenue growth and positive social impact through strategic decision-making and effective team management.
