The Role
The purpose of this position is to produce and deliver all training documentation and modules during the D&C Phase, ensuring alignment with business needs, program timeline, and quality standards. The role involves becoming a key instructor for test and commissioning and Trial Operations by initially training with D&C and then instructing O&M staff. Additionally, the position entails creating the training management system, developing and implementing the CAMS Framework and Procedures, contributing to the development of regulatory documentation, and leading the development of a team of Key Instructors (KIs) to deliver technical training.
Responsibilities
Act as the project manager for training delivery, CAMS implementation, and document production, ensuring alignment with the Safety Management System and business requirements.
Develop the training strategy by identifying training needs, conducting gap analysis, setting objectives, and selecting methodologies to improve performance standards.
Create training modules and associated operational and maintenance documentation, including SOPs and instructions.
Prepare, refine, and implement training plans and programs to support current and future business needs.
Implement specific programs for the Assessment and Verification of Competency (VoC) and maintain readiness for Operation and Maintenance.
Develop and mentor a team of Key Instructors (KIs) to deliver technical training and competency assessments.
Requirements
Overall 10 years (minimum) experience out of which at least 5 years of experience in Learning & Development including training design and facilitation.
Knowledge of working in a railway regulated environment highly regarded
Experience with Competency Management Systems (CAMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Design and implementation of learning principles, procedures and training programs
